In the new beta version of its app, Whatsapp made some pretty big changes to Groups Conversations. WhatsApp rolled out the update over the weekend having version 2.18.205 in the hope of making the group messaging feature more functional for admins of large groups, who want to make sure that important announcements are not missed due to other messages. This is what WhatsApp said in a blog post - "Today, we're launching a new group setting where only admins are able to send messages to a group," which further expanded to "One way people use groups is to receive important announcements and information, including parents and teachers at schools, community centres, and non-profit organisations. We've introduced this new setting so admins can have better tools for these use cases." The new update mainly focuses on two things only- Groups and Admins.
