This is what the New Red OnePlus 6 might be called

Earlier yesterday Oneplus released a short 15 second clip on Twitter which teased us of a Red variant device. The red-tinted clip points to July 2 as the announcement date.the caption of the teaser makes it very evident that OnePlus 6 Red Edition is coming. The caption reads: "Now initiating: C61422. Do you wish to continue?" followed by the link to the official OnePlus 6 page of the company website. On Instagram, Marques Brownlee(otherwise known as MKBHD) posted a picture of a One Plus 6 on top of another device that looks a lot like a red OnePlus 6. You can see the buttons are the same and the curves are similar.

Unless our eyes are tricking us, that is a totally different red color and is not the Lava Red that was used for the OnePlus 5t. See the color tone of Lava Red OnePlus 5t-

Slashleaks also got hold of some images and this red looks more bright than that of One Plus 5t. So probably OnePlus will come up with a new name to suit the color tone change.

We tried to dig up the internet using the color hex code given by them in the tweet as 'C61422' and found few names like Thunderbird red and Fire Engine red. But one of our source did give us quite a catchy name which is Candy Apple Red.
We tried to find things with Candy Apple Red and here's what we found out-

From the color we might get close to the point .
Though we might not be correct but by looking at the colour as well as the name it might come out true. Maybe the names can change to Candy red or Apple red.
But we have to wait for a few more hours to see the real one though.

WhatsApp rolled out the update over the weekend having version 2.18.205 in the hope of making the group messaging feature more functional for admins of large groups, who want to make sure that important announcements are not missed due to other messages.
